Mexican Corn Bread

Ole! This cornbread is wonderful with soups and stews or as a side with a meal. Its full of lots of really good stuff!

What you will need!

1 Cup Yellow or White Cornmeal 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 t white sugar
2/3 cup half and half cream
2 large eggs

1/2 tea white salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 Small finely chopped onion
1 14 oz can creamed corn
1 Cup drained mexican corn
1 1/2 cup grated sharp cheder cheese

How to Cook!

Preheat oven to 400° put 1/3 cup in cast iron Skillet or greased pan. Heat in over for 10 minutes. mix all ingredients together, and put in greased hot skillet. bake for 40-45 minutes till golden brown! After 5 minutes turnover to a dinner plate!
