Rice Krispies Cheese wafers

I have been making these delightful, crispy, cheesy crackers for 45 years!  This recipe was passed down from my Grandmother to my Mama to me!  They  are delicious  by themselves with a Coca Cola or a glass of sweet tea or accompanying  a big scoop chicken or tuna salad . They taste like more!

What you will need!

1 c. Butter, melted
8-10 oz. sharp cheddar cheese (2-2 1/2 cups)
2 c. all-purpose flour
2-2 1/2 c rice krispies

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp. dry mustard dash worcestershire sauce

How to Cook!

Mix butter and cheese. add flour and pepper. add cereal and mix. form into small balls. put on greased cookie sheet or parchment paper. press flat with fork tines. Bake at 375° for 14 minutes. watch them closely so that they don't burn on the bottom. cool on rack

Note: you can't just eat one! these are wonderful served with a chicken salad plate and fresh fruit. it's also an alternative to cookies for children
