SOUTHERNERS LOVE THEIR COLE SLAW! WHETHER ITS ‘SERVED WITH HAMBURGERS OR ON TOP OF CHILI DOGS OR WITH BBQ OR FRIED CHICKEN.WE LOVE IT AND EAT A TON OF IT! IN THE PAST, I PURCHASED A QUART OF COLE SLAW FROM A COUPLE OF WELL KNOWN CHAINS,UNTIL THEY QUIT SELLING IT OR ARE NO LONGER IN OPERATION. IT’S SUPER EASY TO WHIP UP IF YOU USE A CHOPPER OR FOOD PROCESSOR

What you will need!

1 SMALL CABBAGE CHOPPED FAIRLY FINE YIELDING
10 CUPS OF CABBAGE
1 CUP CHOPPED CARROTS FINELY CHOPPED

1 1/2 CUP MAYONNAISE
1/2 CUP MILK OR BUTTERMILK
1/4 CUP WHITE VINEGAR
3 TEASPOONS SUGAR
A PINCH 0F SALT...

  1. Hi Gail!! Just made your delicious coleslaw recipe this morning for our BBQ this afternoon with a couple of friends driving over from Aspen.. Can’t wait to try it. We’ll be having it with Moe’s BBQ rack of ribs and BBQ rotisserie chicken sandwiches, chips and beans.
